Isaac Shapiro is an internationally known facilitator, fascinated with life lived in alignment with the world's wisdom traditions. He enjoys exploring with and assisting those who share this interest. At nineteen, he had a recognition of unconditional love and peace and became passionately interested in living like that. This interest was the springboard into looking fresh at many of the aspects of life that we take for granted including our thinking, emotions and beliefs, how the body, mind and nervous system function, and the subtleties of the building blocks that show up as a sense of “I”. He explored, communal living, growing food organically, mind clearing using biofeedback, Feldenkrais bodywork, group energy dynamics and awareness and attention work. In 1991, he met the Master of Advaita, HWL Poonja (Papaji). Since being asked by Papaji to be available for those that have this interest in Truth/love, he has been holding meetings worldwide. Over the years, Isaac saw the extent that trauma pervades human functioning, making the felt sense of the Truth of who we are difficult to live. He now includes a somatic approach, to facilitate that this love affair becomes available to all. www.isaacshapiro.org
RUPERT SPIRAArtist and Non-duality Teacher
From an early age Rupert was deeply interested in the nature of Reality. For twenty years he studied the teachings of Ouspensky, Krishnamurti, Rumi, Shankaracharya, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta and Robert Adams, until he met his teacher, Francis Lucille, twelve years ago. Francis introduced Rupert to the teaching of Jean Klein, Parmenides, Wei Wu Wei and Atmananda Krishnamenon and, more importantly, directly indicated to him the true nature of experience.
Rupert’s first book is "The Transparency of Things," subtitled "Contemplating the Nature of Experience,". His second book, "Presence Volume I The Art of Peace and Happiness and Presence Volume II The Intimacy of All Experience" has been currently released by Non-Duality Press. www.rupertspira.com

Jeff FosterNonduality author
Jeff Foster studied Astrophysics at Cambridge University. In his mid-twenties, after a long period of depression and illness, he became addicted to the idea of ‘spiritual enlightenment’ and embarked on an intensive spiritual quest for the ultimate truth of existence. The spiritual search came crashing down with the clear recognition of the non-dual nature of everything, and the discovery of the extraordinary in the ordinary. In the clarity of this seeing, life became what it always was: intimate, open, loving and spontaneous, and Jeff was left with a deep understanding of the root illusion behind all human suffering, and a love of the present moment. He presently holds meetings, retreats and private one-to-one sessions around the world, gently but directly pointing people back to the deep acceptance inherent in the present moment. He helps people discover who they really are, beyond all thoughts and judgments about themselves, even in the midst of the stress and struggle of modern day living and intimate relationships. Jeff’s teaching style is direct and uncompromising and yet full of humanity, humor and compassion. He believes that freedom is everybody’s birthright. He belongs to no tradition or lineage, and makes his teaching accessible to all. Jeff was voted #68 on Watkins Review’s 2011 list of the world’s 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People – the youngest teacher on the list. Jeff has published four books in over six languages. His latest book The Deepest Acceptance will be published in 2012 by Sounds True. www.lifewithoutacentre.com

During the 1990s Karl Renz encountered a complete clarity in which there was no desire to change anything or to avoid pain or suffering. He felt, “If I must remain in this condition for the remainder of my existence, so be it.” Karl travels throughout the world sharing with spiritual seekers. He doesn’t give instruction in a traditional way, but his paradoxical logic works to help the mind relax and let go of its grasping and seeking, so that the questioner may recognize the changeless, absolute freedom that is our true nature. Every idea, theory, or sacred idol of the mind, is fair game and he turns his attack to our most cherished beliefs, amidst laughter and the relaxed atmosphere of acceptance that he generates. His books include: The Myth of Enlightenment, If You Wake Up Don’t Take it Personally, and A Little Bit of Nothingness. http://www.karlrenz.com
For about 7 years Florian and his life companion Julia have travelled around the world untiringly inviting seekers to recognize in their own experience who they really are and to live as an embodiment of truth in everyday life.
Master Puppetji speaks to all. His insightful and useless “Socksangs” are light-hearted reminders that help us open our eyes to a new way of SEEING. A master at squashing illusion with Wizdumb, humor and meaningless insights, Puppetji cuts through the spiritual mumbo-jumbo and gets right to The Truth: According to Puppetji. Considered to be one of our last great enlightened masters, Puppetji selflessly delivers his meaningless words of Wizdumb to anyone who will listen and even those who don’t. Puppetji’s message is simple: “You take life too seriously…Enlighten-up”. www.puppetji.com

In 1998 Jerry Katz started a movement he calls “people’s nonduality” which is known by an accessibility to nondual people and teachings with openness and friendliness to all traditions and perspectives, while the movement itself is not affiliated with any particular guru, teacher, tradition, supporter, or academic program. This people’s nonduality was initiated through the website Nonduality.com and the email forum Nonduality Salon (and other avenues later on). Milestones in Jerry’s spiritual biography include initiations into his realization as I Am, the dissolving of I Am, and the advent of people’s nonduality. He holds an M.S. in biology from the University of New Mexico and is editor of One: Essential Writings on Nonduality.

Dick BiermanProfessor at the University of Amsterdam
Dick Bierman's interest and research is in the field of consciousness studies in general and the relation between conscious and non conscious processes in particular. He was visiting researcher at Interval, Paul Allen’s thinktank in California, where he was involved in studyingthe roleof the operator of Quantum Computers. He was also visiting researcher at StarLab in Brussels where he headed the Emotics group. Currently he is involved in research on intuitive decision making and research on the relation between consciousness and Quantum Physics. The latter research was triggered by his long standing interest in highly controversial but less boring so-called paranormal phenomena. In his view these phenomena, if real, should be incorporated in physics in an attempt to unify physics and psychology.
What Meriel Gold (Hoare) finds she loves about drawing and painting is
the “stop” as her brush or hand touches the canvas or
paper, like a kind of rest. It seems in this pause or rest that we
are, as it were, drawn home into the quietness of ourself, which she
feels is what we are all really yearning for, and which infact, is always here, just waiting to be noticed!
Meriel has been painting and drawing all her life. She studied at the Slade School of Art in London, with Oscar Kokoshka in his School of Seeing in Salzburg and with Cecil Collins.
AYSHEGUL ASHKISufi Guide, MA, HHP
Ashki's journey of Self-dis-covery has begun at 17 through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Siddhi Programs, and continued on through various Sacred Traditions including Mystical Christianity, Vedanta and Zen, culminating in Universal Sufism. She has been sharing Universal Sufi teachings alongside with her beloved husband Kaan for the last two decades through the prompting of their beloved teacher late Dr. Lex Hixon/Sheikh Nur who appointed them as his successors. While her non-dual wisdom teachings and practices are rooted in Islamic Sufism, she universalizes these on the shared core principles of human mystic experience. Shaykha Ashki is now working on two books; writing her first book 'NonDual Wisdom Teachings of Rumi' which is based on Rumi's Masterpiece Masnavi, and translating her teacher Dr. Lex Hixon's 'Coming Home: Enlightenment Experience in Sacred Traditions' into Turkish. Ashki leads monthly Interfaith Sufi Peace Retreats, participates in Interfaith and Trans-traditional Councils, Teleseminars, Oneness Movements, and Community Service Groups. Ashki holds a BA in Education, an HHP in Healing Arts, and an MA in Science of Creative Intelligence from Maharishi University of Management. She is of Turkish origin, married and has three children. She currently resides and shares the Nondual Sufi Teachings in Tustin, California.
Catherine Pépin, Ph.D.Theoretical Physicist, Institute of Theoretical Physics, Saclay, France
Catherine is a French theoretical physicist working in the field of Quantum Emergent phenomena. Quantum Field theory, complexity and emergence are the key words of this research where quantum physics, originally designed to describe the realm of the microcosm, is found to emerge at the macroscopic scale in the form of very mysterious and spectacular phenomena. Catherine obtained her PhD from the University of Grenoble and the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (France), in 1996. From 1996 to 1998 she was a post doctorate research fellow at MIT (USA), followed by two years at Brasenose College, Oxford University (UK). Since 2001, she is permanent research scientist at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Saclay, France. Author of more than 50 scientific publications in Quantum Field Theory and Condensed Matter Physics, she is a Leader Research Scientist of her institution since 2007. In 2005, she received a strong spiritual call which told with no doubt that in addition to the wonders of Scientific endeavour, there is an unmistakable Otherness, a presence impalpable to the mind. Her spiritual quest thus started in June 2006 with the meeting of late Stephen Jourdain'. During the year 2007, she went through a Shamanic initiation involving Iboga and Ayahuasca, the African and South Amazon sacred plants known to open doors of the Spirit. She met spiritual teacher Andrew Cohen in march 2008 and since then is a student of his teaching of Evolutionary Enlightenment. She believes the spiritual call received in 2005, while she was still a fundamentally materialistic scientist, was not an accident . It was an experience of a universal longing in the human Soul for a deep and uncompromising re-union of Science and Spirit.
Marlies Cocheret de la MoriniEre, MA

She has been offering satsangs and retreats since 2000 when Adyashanti asked her to teach. Marlies is interviewed in ‘Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Wisdom’ by R.M. Robinson. www.marliescocheret.com.
Douwe Tiemersma, Ph.D.Douwe Tiemersma was a teacher of Biology and then senior lecturer in Philosophy at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam until his retirement in 2005. He has given weekly advaita-satsangs in Gouda ever since his enlightening encounter in 1980 with Nisargadatta Maharaj who gave him his initiation. Besides writing the ‘Foreword’ to Nisargadatta’s spiritual classic, ‘I am That’, he has written and edited approximately twenty books and many articles, especially about non-duality, most of them in the Dutch language. See www.advaitacentrum.nl/en. This summer John Hunt will publish his ‘Non-duality – the groundless openness’.
Hans LaurentiusHans Laurentius was originally trained as a spiritual therapy teacher (’94-’98). However in this same period advaita crossed his path and ended the search. Between ’98 and 2009 he organized hundreds of satsangs, weekend workshops and retreats, published six books, eight satsang cd’s and many articles. Since 2010 he focuses on teaching people how to really feel or experience things completely. Consciousness never fights against or runs away from any experience so in regaining ones natural abilities one can become a real human being, instead of remaining in a child like awareness (or sleepwalking state) based on fear and avoidance. He now mostly works on an individual level, but still organizes one day workshops every now and again. Individual sessions can be given in English.www.hanslaurentius.nl.
Julian BagginiJulian Baggini (www.julianbaggini.com) is the author of several books, including Welcome to Everytown: A Journey into the English Mind (Granta), Complaint (Profile) and, most recently, The Ego Trick (Granta). He has written for numerous newspapers and magazines, including the Guardian, the Financial Times, Prospect and the New Statesman, as well as for the think tanks The Institute of Public Policy Research and Demos. He is founding editor of The Philosophers’ Magazine (www.philosophersmag.com). He has also appeared as a character in two Alexander McCall-Smith novels.
Roeland de LooffRoeland de Looff is a Master of Arts. He has studied social sciences at Utrecht University. He has specialized in the relationship between non duality and science. His main sources of inspiration are Albert Einstein, different neuro-scientists, Nisargadatta Maharaj and UG Krishnamurti. In his book 'You are Oneness' he writes about how science reveals that there is one energyfield only. The 'me' arises out of that energyfield. It is a tiny part of that. There is no independent me that is separate from that one energyfield. His website is www.youareoneness.com. Dutch website www.jijbenteenheid.nl.

EMMANUEL DROUETEmmanuel Drouet, is professor of Virology at the University of Grenoble (France), and previously served as a biomedical pathologist in the Institut Pasteur (Lyon, France). As scientist in EMBL laboratory (European Molecular Biology Laboratory), Dr Drouet’s research investigates the persisting viruses in human (RNA and DNA viruses) and the balance with our host immune system. He focuses on their effects on humans (both their impact in pathology and their symbiotic relationships in humans). Relying on clinical observations, Drouet pioneered experiments about the positive role of some viruses (human herpesviruses, human endogenous retroviruses) on human health. His studies shed a new light on microbial agents, behaving alternatively in a cooperative or destructive way depending on the environment they find themselves in. Drouet explains how this shows us the same life living the 'universality' of biological patterns manifesting in nature throughout all the magnitudes. He says the deeper he looks the more he sees a similarity between the “viral” world and ourselves; he will try to demonstrate that the play of life is what it is before the labeling of good or bad. He has published over 65 book chapters and journal articles in clinical microbiology and immunology as well as fundamental biology.
Lothar Schäfer, Ph.D.Professor of Physical Chemistry (emeritus) at the University of Arkansas
Lothar Schäfer is a Distinguished Professor of Physical Chemistry (emeritus)
at the University of Arkansas. His research in the areas of Physical Chemistry, Electron Diffraction, Applied Quantum Chemistry, and Computational Chemistry
led his team to develop the first real-time gas electron diffraction instrument in which diffraction data are recorded on-line, enabling the first pulsed-beam, Time-Resolved Electron Diffraction studies of laser-excited molecules. Born and living in the Netherlands, Prajnaparamita has been in search of her true nature all her life. Initially investigating and studying psychology, religion and philosophy, she eventually met a truly awakened soul and surrendered her heart, her mind and her life. Over several decades Prajnaparamita received a rich vista of non-dual teachings: Advaita Vedanta, Mahayana Buddhism, Zen and Ch'an. After her enlightenment, more than a decade ago, Prajnaparamita was assigned by her spiritual Master, ShantiMayi, to be a Guru herself and 'spread the light all over the world.' Since then she has unceasingly offered satsang and intensives worldwide, inspiring all who are longing to awaken to their inherent Buddha nature. Her teachings are no teachings really. In the togetherness of the satsang, in her response to questions being asked about all aspects of life, there is a spontaneous expression of universal truth, as an ongoing encouragement to come to rest in natural peace. http://www.prajnaparamita.nl
Jac O' Keeffe
Jac O' Keeffe travels extensively, facilitating satsang. At these spiritual gatherings and in her writings she assists spiritual seekers of Truth by offering clear pointers to that which is prior to and beyond the mind. Jac has the ability to cut through habitual thought patterns of mind and expose the subtleties of belief systems that anchor the idea of a separate individual. This approach opens a door internally to enable one to hear her speaking of that which is beyond mind. Thus the inner resonance of what is known to be truth can take place and who you really are is revealed. http://www.jackieokeeffe.com
My passion is the freshness that lies in the exploration of this moment.
What excites me is Living This with everything I AM.
All that matters to me is how we are with each other, how we are
with everything, in this moment.
Who is Paul Smit? There is actually no Paul Smit! However, there is consciousness and within this consciousness, a body / mind system called Paul Smit arises. In this game called ‘life’ this appearance Paul Smit plays its role. As a teenager he had a love for philosophy and in 1999 he graduated with an essay about ‘the evolution of the human consciousness.’ He realized that our free will is an illusion. When nonduality came on its path, it became clear to him that one thing was overlooked. Namely, that our individuality is also imaginary! This insight led to a profound sense of liberation. About nonduality he wrote the books. ‘Het Kosmisch Plan’, ‘De zoektocht naar Tao’, ‘De 10 flirtgeboden’, ‘Praten over bewustzijn’, ‘Nondualiteit voor managers’ en ‘Verlichting voor luie mensen.’

Rita VenturiniNeuroscientist, Artist
Rita is constantly curious of the place were you can lose yourself into the Self. She has explored this from many perspectives painting, sculpting, dancing, moving and researching. What is that creates the sense of self in our mind? What is that can allow us to let it go? She is engaged in practicing this while also understanding its mechanisms. At the moment she is looking for how our sense of confidence has a role in this puzzle at the Center for the Unknown in beautiful Lisbon, Portugal. You can find some of the ways she plays with these ideas at www.blueheartplanet.org
Amanda FeildingDirector, The Beckley Foundation
