FEEDBACK
Some comments from the participants of SAND 2009
"I don't consider that I have "awakened" since there has been only one major event, that in 1974, but I have been continually gaining insights and I do know that I have been gradually experiencing less and less suffering. This process received a big boost at the Science and Nonduality Conference that was held in Marin County in October 2009. At that conference, which was in itself an experience of joy, oneness, and exuberance, I met and talked with the three that I consider to be my current teachers, Francis Lucille, Rupert Spira, and Greg Goode."

“We need to thank YOU for putting this all together. This was truly the highlight of my year and if it wasn't for you, many wonderful things would not be happening for me... I SOO appreciate you talking me into attending this. I have to tell you, this was the final piece that was needed to put me back onto my path of what I've always wanted to do. Since having attended your conference, I have decided to go back to school (Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) and follow my dream of being a motivational speaker/spiritual teacher. It's funny, I have a mathematics degree from UC Berkeley and so feel that the science-y side of me has been fulfilled but now it's time to immerse myself in the spiritual side and merge the two together. So thank you thank you thank you for putting this together and being so generous and loving and supportive. You have been a wonderful influence on me and are a big reason I'm taking these big steps forward. So thank you!!”

“Terrific conference—for me primarily because it broke important new interdisciplinary ground and provides a nearly perfect venue for my work —and local to boot!”

"The conference was really well done. I very much appreciated many of the talks I attended. I also deeply appreciated your collaboration with the NDWP conference. I feel that it was interesting to bring together the science and nonduality perspectives. In general, I found people like Jeff Foster or Dorothy Hunt embodying what they were saying, while the scientists tended to mentally speculate. This is my bias of course, but it made for a bit of a lopsided experience. Raja Selvam’s daylong workshop was a real gem and spoke to my interest: very practical ways that we can embody Nondual wisdom to reduce suffering."

"This gathering is also a celebration of the bottom-line truth of our existence: that in our distinct and individualistic arisings and turnings, we are truly not limited, bound, or separate."

“Great conference and workshops – top notch speakers, reasonable cost. Really excellent, especially for a first time conference. This ‘thing’ is going to grow!"
