He is the great unifier,
but not in the way he imagines.
He will unify those who agree with him.
He will unify those who don’t.
He is a trigger
for a much-needed Awakening.
He will awaken anger, fear, despair, hope.
He will inspire passion,
help us find our voice
and tell the truth.
And stop waiting for a damn saviour.
He will push us to the edge
of our identities.
He will force us to remember
who we truly are.
He is right about this:
We will discover our own power
(and he is powerless to stop it).
Some will see a nightmare now.
Others will see a great Awakening.
He will break down walls
when he tries to build them.
