The Dragon’s Charms

I need Redemption
From my miscontensions
My emotions spill like wine
I need release
this pain to cease
The torment ferments inside

I need new Amour
To fight my war
That rages deep within
I need new eyes
 to realize
This war I can surely win

I’m ravished I’m weak
I’m unable to sleep
I’ve swallowed the pill of despair
And if you took off my mask
To reveal my past
You’d hear the little boy scream

You might not enjoy
Seeing a boy
so lonely nude and tired
Wearing the dragon’s charms
With tracks on his arms
So sick so blind so Wired

You can reach out
The boy won’t come out
He hides beneath his fears
He’s unable to trust
His abilities turned to rust
He hasn’t been touched in years

He just wants the Love
Of a caring mom
Beneath his mask, he dreams
If you took off his mask
to reveal his past
You’d hear the little boy scream

For he needs Redemption
From his miscontensions
He needs to break the chains
The chains that bind
That makes him blind
He needs shelter in the rain

For the little boy
Who had no joy
He needs someone loving to say
This is the last hour
Of the Dragons’ Power
Soon he’ll be gone away…..
