Wholeness & Fragmentation

Video with

David Bohm’s focus here is on the problem with our “civilized” and compartmentalized ways of thinking, which is fragmented. In our minds we have divided what was actually one unified whole into parts. But that’s not reality.. so if we change how we think to be more in synch with how the Universe actually is then we begin to move and act more coherently, respond to problems more creatively and wisely, so that everything is transformed in our lives, locally, and eventually globally… Quite simple, actually, it all begins with a transformation of our world view.

Excerpt from the documentary “Art Meets Science and Spirituality in a Changing Economy – From Fragmentation to Wholeness” Artists, scientists, spiritual leaders and economists gathered in Amsterdam in 1990 to explore the emerging paradigm of a holistic world view and the implications for a global economy.
