Caverly Morgan is the founder and guiding teacher of Peace in Schools and Presence Collective. Peace in Schools offers the first for-credit high school mindfulness course in the United States, now adopted by seven schools in Portland, Oregon, and touching more than a thousand students. In this moving address illustrated with a number of short videos of students and parents, she describes the Peace in Schools course and invites us to imagine a world in which we are encouraged, as part of a high school program, to explore questions of identity and belonging – the great mysteries of existence.
